Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting State Level Kabadi Tournament at Kandipalayam Village, Namakkal District on 25.11.2017 and 26.11.2017.

Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner claims to be a Kabadi Player, sought for permission to conduct the State Level Kabadi Tournament at Kandipalayam Village, Namakkal District on 25.11.2017 and 26.11.2017. The said request made by the petitioner through his representation dated 01.11.2017, is pending before the second respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that the second respondent has not considered the said request so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Considering the fact that the said Tournament is scheduled to take place on 25.11.2017 and 26.11.2017 and that the petitioner has already approached the second respondent on 01.11.2017 itself and sought for permission, it is for the second respondent to consider the said request and pass appropriate orders, without loss of further time. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent to dispose of the said request of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, by passing an order on or before 20.11.2017. No costs.
