ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.12.2024. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was retired from service on 31.12.2022. After his retirement, the respondents have not settled the petitioner's claim such as terminal benefits of death-cum-retirement gratuity along with interest. Hence the present writ petition is filed. Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that, claiming the above said terminal benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation on 09.12.2024 and the said representation has not been disposed by the respondents.

At this juncture, Dr.G.Surya, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.Stalin Abhimanyu who takes notice for the third respondent would jointly made a submission that there are dues to be settled to the petitioner and the respondents would settle the same in accordance with the service records of the individual within a reasonable time.

Taking into consideration of the above submission, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.12.2024 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order according to it's own merits and in accordance with law 6.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
