This Miscellaneous Petition is filed, seeking to substitute the Writ Petitioner in W.P.No.17447 of 2016 viz., The Chairman, Pallavan Grama Bank, Head Office, No.6, Yercaud Road, Hasthampatti, Salem-636 007, with Tamil Nadu Grama Bank, represented by its Chairman, Head Office, No.6, Yercaud Road, Hasthampatti, Salem636007.

2. Learned counsel for the Petitioner herein / R1 in the Writ Petition has submitted that consequent to the amalgamation dated 28.01.2019 by the Government of India, both the Writ Petitioner Bank and the Pandiyan Grama Bank have been made as a single Regional Rule Bank, named as "Tamil Nadu Grama Bank" with effect from 01.04.2019 and therefore, the name of the Writ Petitioner Bank needs to be substituted as "Tamil Nadu Grama Bank".

3. Learned counsel for R1 herein / Petitioner in the Writ Petition has no objection in substituting the name of the Writ Petitioner Bank.

4. Being satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the Miscellaneous Petition for substitution is ordered.
