Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, pleased to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to transfer the investigation in Crime No.299 of 2024 on the file of the Inspector of Police, H8, Thiruvotriyur Police Station, Chennai to the file of 3rd respondent or any other competent investigation agency to conduct a free and fair investigation within a stipulated time. O R D E R

One Indira Priyadarshini W/o.Gunalan @ Sathish, the petitioner herein had committed suicide recording her hanging in her cell phone. Initially a complaint been given by the petitioner stating that since he been the drunkard, his wife had no chance of conceiving and not living up to her expectation quarrel arose. This has forced her to commit suicide. Thereafter, the present Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking transfer of investigation to some other police alleging that the owner of the house who had first saw the Indira Priyadarshini death by hanging is the culprit.

The respondent police is present today with CD file states that investigation been conducted on the FIR registered. There is no material to suspect any foul play and the postmortem report also indicates the death by hanging. However, the suspicion of the petitioner also been probed. On completion of investigation, final report will be filed within a period of 45 days.

This Court finds that no reason to transfer the case to any 2/4

other agency when the investigation is in the right track. The respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in the manner known to law and file a final report within a period 45 days. 4.

Recording the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
