The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is giving up the first respondent in the writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to the said effect.

Since the petitioner has given up the first respondent, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
