ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2025. 2.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner retired as Senior Grade Conductor from the respondent Corporation and he was not settled eligible retirement benefits along with interest. Hence he sent a representation to the respondent dated 25.03.2025. Since no action was initiated, the present writ petition has been filed.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent dated 31.05.2023 claiming terminal benefits along with interest. In spite of long lapse of time, the respondent neither considered the representation nor settled his eligible claim.

Mr.K.Raja, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent Transport Corporation.

Since the petitioner has come up with the restricted prayer to consider his representation, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court deem it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.05.2023 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on it's own merits and in accordance with law. In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
