Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents 3 and 4 the Inspector of Police, Pallavaram Police Station, Chennai 43 and the Inspector of Police, W.35, All Women Police Station, Chennai Police, Tambaram not to harass the petitioner by often summoning them to the police stations.

ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 not to harass the petitioner by often summoning him to the police stations, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the petitioner's wife has given a complaint based on which Social Welfare Officer is conducting enquiry in CSR No.46/2015. This petitioner shall participate in the enquiry before the Social Welfare Officer. Under such circumstances, no blanket direction as prayed for by the petitioner could be given. If the petitioner is wanted either for enquiry or for interrogation, he can very well be summoned by the respondent police and while doing so, the petitioner shall not be harassed. At the same time, the petitioner should submit himself to the respondent for interrogation and enquiry.

4. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
