The petitioner wife seeks transfer of HMOP.No.163 of 2021 filed by the husband on the file of the Family Court, Chengalpattu to the Family Court, Tiruppur.

2. The transfer is sought for only on the ground of convenience, since the wife is a resident of Tiruppur. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the husband would submit that though the husband was working in Chennai, due to the lock down, he is working from home and he is not staying at Coimbatore. He would submit that the petition was filed in Chengalpattu since they lastly resided together within the jurisdiction of the Family Court, Chengalpattu. The learned counsel would further add that the husband apprehends danger to his life at the hands of the brother of the petitioner wife and hence he would seek transfer to a neutral venue. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the apprehension expressed by the learned counsel for the respondent, the HMOP.No.163 of 2021 is withdrawn from the file https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the Family Court, Chengalpattu and transferred to the file of the Principal Sub Court, Erode to be tried and disposed of in accordance with law. Since the transfer is made to a Sub Court, where the presence of the parties for every hearing is not necessary, the inconvenience caused to the parties by the transfer would also be largely reduced. Hence, this transfer civil miscellaneous petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
