ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kallakurichi District to expedite and complete the trial in C.C.No.156/2024.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case is of the year 2022. Charge sheet filed before Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kallakurichi, in C.C.No.156 of 2024 listing 11 witnesses. Now, the case has been posted on 11.05.2026 for examination of LW1 to LW3. Hence, he seeks six months time to examine all the witnesses. 3.Considering the submission made and the case is of the year, 2022, this Court directs the trial Court to proceed with the trial and to complete the same expeditiously as possible, after examination of all the witnesses.
