ORDER

The petitioner/A4, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4) of BNS in Crime No.209 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The complaint was registered for cheating a sum of Rs.2,60,66,867/- from 53 subscribers for the unregistered chit run by the accused 1 and 2. The said complaint specifically alleges that this petitioner being brother of the first accused used to collect the chit amount from the subscribers.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any crime as alleged and he is ready to cooperative with the investigation. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner is absconding and not available for investigation. The other accused was arrested and later released on bail due to default in filing the 2/4

final report.

5.Considering the nature of the modus operandi involved in this case, this Court is not inclined to entertain the bail petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
