This petition has been filed to amend the sections as under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 307 IPC r/w Section 3(1)(r)(s) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Ordinance Act, 2015 instead of Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 307 IPC r/w Section 3(1)(i) of SC/ST (POA) Act 1989 in Crl.OP No.5329 of 2017.

2. Heard both sides and perused the records.

3. Considering the reason stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition that due to inadvertent mistake, the petitioners have wrongly stated the provisions of law in the petition, this Court is inclined to amend the sections as prayed for. Accordingly, this petition is ordered. Registry is directed to amend the sections in the order dated 17.03.2017 and issue a fresh order copy to the parties concerned.
