ORDER

The petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 09.09.2025 based on his representation dated 24.03.2026, in the light of the Government orders issued by the State of Tamil Nadu on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that in pursuance of the notification dated 16.08.2025, issued by the respondents for filling up the vacant posts of Village Assistant in Marakkanam Taluk, Villupuram District, the petitioner applied for the same on 09.09.2025 before the second respondent, along with all the requisite documents satisfying the prescribed educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria. Thereafter, the Government Orders were issued by the State of Tamil Nadu relaxing two years in the upper age limit to all categories for appointment to the said post. Since the petitioner's family is falling within the said category, he submitted a detailed representation dated 24.03.2026 before the respondents 2 and 3, for which there is no response. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 09.09.2025 and his representation dated 24.03.2026, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
