ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 03.05.2021.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel for the Waqf Board submitted that the election will be conducted and concluded, within a period of six months and during the interregnum period, an ad hoc Committee which has already been appointed whose tenure ends on 21.01.2026, is in administration of the Waqf. 3.In the light of the above development, the Waqf Board shall proceed further to conduct the election and complete the same, within a period of six months.
