ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition to appear and sign before the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur, daily evening at 5.00 p.m., instead of stay at Chengalpattu and to sign before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Chengalpattu, daily at 10.30 am until further orders in Crl.MP No.2284 of 2016 in Crime No.978 of 2016 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Thiruvallur, dated 22.07.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The petitioner was arrested in Crime No.978 of 2016 and was enlarged on bail by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvallur in Crl.MP.No.2284 of 2016 on 22.07.2016, on condition that he should stay at Chengalpattu and sign before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Chengalpattu daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that after the petitioner was released on bail, he is complying with the aforesaid condition till date. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner is a I Year College student and on account of the aforesaid condition, he is not able to attend the college.

5. Under such circumstances, the condition to stay at Chengalpattu and report before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Chengalpattu, is rescinded and the petitioner is directed to report before the respondent Police Station at 6.30 p.m. every day until further orders.

With the above modification, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
