Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to regularise the petitioner's services to the Post of Computer/Typist pursuant to petitioner's representation dated 06.12.2014.

O R D E R

The petitioner was engaged by the Block Development Department with effect from 01.01.1995. She worked up to 31.01.1999. The petitioner was transferred to Dharmapuri on 01.02.1999. She was appointed as Computer operator by the District Collector, Dharmapuri vide order dated 19.05.2003. She was given daily wages.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that notwithstanding the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.22 dated 28.02.2006, follow up action was not taken by the respondents to regularise her service. The petitioner submitted a representation on 06.12.2014 requesting the third respondent to regularise her service. Since follow up action was not taken, the petitioner is before this court.

3. The third respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 06.12.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The status quo with regard to the service of the petitioner should be maintained till the disposal of the representation by the third respondent.

4. The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 06.12.2014 along with a copy of this order so as enable the third respondent to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible.
