Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the Second Respondent in his proceedings vide Na.Ka.No.22774/2014/V1, dated 26.12.2014 and quash the same consequently restraining the Respondents from in any way establishing, permitting and running TASMAC Shop at No.470, 471, C.T.H. Road, Balaji Nagar, Thirumullaivoyal, Chennai - 600 062.

(through video conference) Heard Mr. K.Sathish Kumar, Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the First and Third Respondents, Mr. N.Inbanathan, Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Second Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.
There is no representation for the Petitioner when the matter is called at 11.38 a.m.
The Petitioner had made a representation dated 15.11.2014 to conduct spot inspection of the proposed site and not to locate the TASMAC Shop Nos.470 and 471, C.T.H. Road, Balaji Nagar, Thirumullaivoyal, Chennai - 600 062. The said representation has been rejected by the Officials of the Collectorate and challenging the same, the Writ Petition has been filed.

Similar Writ Petitions seeking the same relief in respect of the said shops had been filed by two other persons, viz., V.Saravanan and K.Kajaa Mohideen, in W.P.Nos.25378 and 21629 of 2013 before this Court, which have been disposed by order dated 20.12.2019. It had been brought to notice of the Court in those cases that Shop No. 470 has been shifted and that Shop No. 471 has been closed, as per the letters dated 19.07.2018 and 23.02.2017 received from the District Manager, TASMAC, Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai in that regard. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondents has also produced the copies of the said orders, which have been placed on record. In view of the subsequent events, nothing remains for further consideration in this Writ Petition.
