ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to investigate the Crime No.45 of 2019 and file charge sheet based on the order in C.M.P.No.2109 of 2021 in 1621 of 2021 dated 15.11.2021 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Poonamalle.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondent has registered a case in the Crime No.45 of 2019 on 01.03.2019. Despite the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Poonamalle. in C.M.P.Nos.2109 of 2021 in 1621 of 2021, no final report is filed till date.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the investigation is in progress and respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (crl.side) appearing for the respondent. 2/4

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
