... Respondent PRAYER : This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed under Section 582 of BNSS, 2023, seeking to modify the condition imposed in para No.6(c) in Crl.O.P.No.3536 of 2026 dated 20.02.2026.
For Petitioners : Mr.C.S.Srinivasan For Respondent : Mr.A.Gopinath Government Advocate (Crl.Side)
ORDER
The petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in para No.6(c) in Crl.O.P.No.3536 of 2026 dated 20.02.202, whereby the petitioner was directed to report before the respondent police everyday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is working at Chennai and his mother is bedridden and hence he could not
comply with the condition and hence seeks modification. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner has not complied with the condition imposed by this Court. Considering the submission made on either side and the fact that this Court directed the petitioner to report before the respondent only for a period of one week and thereafter as and when required, this court is not inclined to modify the condition.
Accordingly, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed. 07.05.2026 cgi To
