Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2017 and grant permission to the petitioner in order to celebrate the "Aadi month Temple festival" and to give police protection which is schedule to be held on 03.08.2017 and 04.08.2017 in future date also in Kaliyamman Temple, situated at Gengavaram Adi Dravidar Colony, Kasangudi Village, Kalasapakkam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District.

O R D E R

Through the representation dated 14.07.2017, the petitioner had requested the respondents herein to grant permission to celebrate the "Aadi month Temple festival" and to give police protection which is schedule to be held on 03.08.2017 and 04.08.2017 in Kaliyamman Temple, situated at Gengavaram Adi Dravidar Colony, Kasangudi Village, Kalasapakkam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District. Since the respondents have not considered the representation, the present writ petition is filed.

2. In view of the limited prayer sought for, there shall be a direction to the 5th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 14.07.2017, on its own merits and pass orders within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
