When the matter is taken for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the petitioner requested the second respondent to extend the period of the petitioner's board of Management viz., "SLM/HSG 103, Mecheri Women's Urban Co-operative Housing Society Ltd., for further period of two years from 25.06.2009. Thus, the aforesaid period expired.

In view of the above, now the extension period of two years, is expired. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the matter. Hence this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
