O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to survey the property comprised in SF.No.119/B at Palapatti Village, Salem Taluk and also for a direction to issue patta to the petitioner, by disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2024 , within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he inherited the subject property by way of a Settlement Deed dated 06.11.2019. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he made an application on 22.10.2020 to survey the said property and demarcate its boundaries and also paid necessary fees on 22.10.2020 itself. Since, the respondents have not taken any steps on his application, the petitioner has given a representation on 17.04.2024. However, the same has also not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.04.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation for survey of the property and demarcate the boundaries, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
