PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition has been filed u/s 482 Crpc directing the respondent police to file final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur, Chennai, in so far relates to Cr.No.668 of 2020.

ORDER

The petitioner /defacto complainant in Crime No.668 of 2020 has filed this petition seeking to complete the investigation and to file a charge sheet.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the respondent, on the petitioner's complaint, a case in crime No.668 of 2020 came to be registered for offence under Sections 294 (b), 324, 506(i) IPC against Kalyan and two others. The said Kalyan is none-else then the brother of the petitioner's wife and there some disputes between the family members and thereafter, the petitioner said to have been arrested. He Further submits that the Hydrabad address of his brother-in-law and his family members is known to the petitioner and the petitioner has not furnished the address and the particulars to conclude the investigation.

3.Counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, submits that the accused in this case are all well connected with the police department and one of the brother is Public Prosecutor in Hyderabad. In view of the same, they are thwarting the investigation, the petitioner is standing in the police station through out a day and no enquiry is being conducted. 4.The Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) strongly refused the contention of the petitioner.

5. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on 16.08.2021 & 17.08.2021 and furnish the particulars and cooperate with the respondent police to conclude the trial and thereafter the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
