The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that on the complaint given by the petitioner against his son-in-law, CSR has been registered in No.283 of 2024 and the matter has been enquired.

2. From the complaint, primafacie there is no element of cognizable offence for registering FIR and therefore, the respondent police has to ascertain whether any cognizable offence is made out or not and if necessary, police protection will be provided.

3. Recording to the said undertaking, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
