These petitions are filed to condone the delay of 3198 days in filing the petition to set aside the abatement caused due to the death of the fifth respondent, Palaniammal in the above second appeal ; to set aside the abatement ; and to bring on record respondents 9 and 10 herein as legal representative of the deceased fifth respondent namely, Palaniammal in the above second appeal in S.A.No.961 of 2014 and rank them as respondents in the above mentioned second appeal.

2. Having regard to the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the petition to condone the delay, this Court is convinced that the petitioners have given satisfactory reasons to condone the delay.
