Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to survey the land in S.F.No.380/A as per Doc.No.1522 of 1971 registered at Sub Registrar Office, Dharapuram and make correction in revenue records by considering the petitioner representation dated 16.08.2016.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to survey the land in S.F.No.380/A as per Document No.1522 of 1971 registered in the office of the Sub Registrar, Dharapuram and make correction in revenue records by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2016.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Ms.A.Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent had already conducted the survey of the land in question as early as on 16.11.2016 and nothing survives for adjudication the present Writ Petition.

3. Mr.S.Vinoth Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that since the 2nd respondent had already conducted the survey on 16.11.2016, the Writ Petition may be closed.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, since the 2nd respondent had already conducted the survey on 16.11.2016, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
