Prayer in both WPs: Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the first respondent herein in his proceedings Rc.No.163720/NGB V (2 )/2018 dated 21.12.2018 and quash the same and consequently issue a direction directing the respondents herein the date of recruitment/appointment as the basis for fixing State seniority and effect promotion and to promote the petitioner as Sub Inspector of Police (Armed Reserve) from the date of promotion of their
batch mates in the light of the orders passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.No. 25043/2002 dated 18.09.2007 which was implemented by Government vide G.O.Ms (No) 1623 (Home Pol VI) Department dated 12/12/2008.

Rajesh Government Advocate COMMON ORDER The learned counsel for the petitioners made a submission that the impugned order in the present writ petitions was challenged earlier by the another set of head constables in W.P. (MD). No. 1554 of 2019 etc. batch and the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, passed an order on 06.01.2020
2. The learned Government Advocate also states that the very same impugned order quashed by the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court.
3. In view of the fact that both the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents states that the very same impugned order had already been
quashed by the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court in the case cited supra, the impugned order in all these writ petitions are quashed. The writ petitions are allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
