This writ petition is filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal dated 05.03.2024 to rectify the error in A Register and include the 17 cents of petitioner's land in respect of S.No. 37/9A and Patta No.1438, Kanjanaickenpatti Village, Kadayampatti Taluk, Salem District as per sale deed in Doc. No. 281/1958, Sub Registrar, Omalur.
2. The petitioner submitted a representation on 05.03.2024 seeking for mistake crept in during the UDR Scheme, which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.
4. Since no adverse order is passed against the fourth respondent, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner 2/4
dated 05.03.2024 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the private respondent and any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
