Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 30.12.2013, 17.08.2015, 18.08.2015, 28.08.2015, 29.08.2015 and 31.08.2015 in accordance with the recommendations made by the Panchayat President, Vadamugam Vellodu Village, Erode District as sub-divided by the Surveyor.

It is the case of the petitioners that for the formation of outer ring road, the places in which they were living were acquired and they were evicted. Therefore, they made several representations seeking for alternative place for living before the respondents. A process was initiated for considering the patta in favour of the petitioners over the land situated in R.S.No.991/23. Despite the same, as no further action has been taken, the petitioners have come forward to file the present Writ Petition.
2. A perusal of the typed set of papers would show that the petitioners have made several representations starting from 30.12.2013 and ending on 31.08.2015. It appears that no further progress has been made. Considering the same, a direction is issued to the respondent no.2 to pass appropriate orders on the pending representations of the petitioners, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
