On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.123/2018 on 21.03.2018 under sections 147, 427, 435 IPC, against the accused. Not satisfied with the progress of the investigation, the defacto complainant is before this Court for transferring the investigation to any other investigating agency. 2.Heard Mr.A.P.Sathyamurthy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Iyyappa Raj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. Mr. V.Saimen Durai, Sub Inspector of Police, E-3, Minjur Police Station, is present. 3.On reading of the FIR, it is alleged by the defacto complainant that the accused had damaged the water pipe on 18.03.2018 and when the police were enquiring, the accused set https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

fire to the huts in the land belonging to the defacto complainant.

4.On perusal of the case diary, this Court finds that there has been extensive damage to the huts.

5.In such view of the matter, this Court directs the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ponneri, Sub Division, to monitor the investigation in Minjur P.S. Crime No.123/2018 that is being conducted by the Inspector of Police, Minjur and take appropriate action against the accused.

6.With the above direction, this petition is ordered accordingly.
