By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner on 05.10.2015.

3. Mr.S.Ilamvaludhi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was placed under suspension by the proceedings of the Assistant Director incharge, Survey and Land Records, Cuddalore, dated 04.10.2013. Though the petitioner's earlier request dated 07.04.2014 was rejected, however in view of the latest judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Ajay Kumar Chowdary Vs. Union of India reported in 2015 (3) SLR 414 (SC), the respondent may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.10.2015.

4. It is further submitted that the Government has also issued a letter No.13519/N/2015 -1, dated 23.07.2015, as per the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court referred above for extension of the suspension order.

5.Heard Mr.S.Ilamvaludhi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

This Court, considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 05.10.2015 and also taking note of the above cited decision and the order of the Government letter dated 23.07.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
