Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of my representation dated 17.03.2026 (requesting them to measure and demarcate the petitioner settled extent of 32.66 sq.meters (351 sq.ft..) in Survey No.68).

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to survey and demarcate the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, based on his online application, dated 21.03.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had submitted an application through on-line on 21.03.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the fourth respondent is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom they deem fit within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of in 2/5

the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the fourth respondent is directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice. (b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the fourth respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property more fully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition, on merits and in accordance with law. (c) If police assistance is required, the fourth respondent is permitted to obtain the same by giving a representation to the police department and the police department shall act accordingly by granting police assistance.

(d) The fourth respondent is directed to complete the aforesaid exercise within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(e) There shall be no order as to costs.
