Prayer in W.P.No.16307 of 2025 Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking for an issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 14.12.2019 and include the petitioner Class IA category in the panel of registered engineers for Ranipet District under the Tamil Nadu Public Buildings Licensing Act of 1965 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. For Respondent : Mrs.V.Yamuna Devi Special Government Pleader COMMON ORDER These three writ petitions have been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's application to include the name of petitioner under Class IA category in the panel of of registered engineers for Tirupathur, Ranipet and Dharmapuri Districts under the Tamil Nadu Public Buildings Licensing Act of 1965.

In all the three writ petitions, the petitioner submits that he is a Chartered Engineer and is intending to take the contract works from the Government. Therefore, he has to get himself registered as engineer under Class IA category.

Mr.Gowwtham Thelak VB., the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, would submit that for getting included under Class IA category in the panel of registered engineers for Tirupathur, Ranipet and Dharmapuri District under the Tamil Nadu Public Buildings Licensing Act, 1965, the petitioner has made applications to the respondents as early as in 2017 and 2019. The applications were forwarded and the Board by its proceedings dated 15.03.2022 and 18.05.2023 had approved the name of the petitioner for being included in Class IA category. It is further submitted that even though the same has been sent to the respondent / District Collector, the same has not been acted upon.

Mrs.V.Yamuna Devi, the learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the sole respondent in all three writ petitions, would submit that in view of the proceedings dated 15.03.2022 and 18.05.2023, the
respondent shall pass final orders within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

In view of the limited relief prayed for and considering the facts and circumstances, all the Writ Petitions stand disposed of with a direction to the respondent to decide and pass final orders on the applications submitted by the petitioner, in view of the proceedings communicated by the Board dated 15.03.2022 and 18.05.2023 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
