Petition for bail for the alleged offence under Section 147, 364, 302, 382 r/w 120B, 201, 149 of IPC, 1860. Due to non appearance of the petitioner before the learned XVII Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai on 04.06.2024, non bailable warrant was issued against him on 04.06.2024.

2. The petitioner herein is a long time absconder in S.C.No.545 of 2018 on the file of the XVII Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai was secured on 07.12.2024 by the respondent police for execution of non bailable warrant.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that only after securing this petitioner, the trial has started and it is now posted for arguments on 01.09.2025.

4. Considering the stage and the conduct of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original petition for bail stands dismissed.
