By consent of both sides, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The prayer in this writ petition is to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.1954/2015/A9, dated 25.09.2015 in respect of the 4th respondent and to quash the same and also to direct the 3rd respondent to appoint the petitioner as godown in charge, based on the representation dated 20.07.2015 and 10.08.2015. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition has been filed challenging the appointment of the 4th respondent. However, during the pendency of the writ petition, he has voluntarily retired from service and hence, the prayer made in the petition has become infructuous. However, the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2015. 4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

5.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger prayer, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and also communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
