A man missing complaint given on 16.04.2024 registered in Cr.No.187 of 2023, now sought to be transferred to some other agency on the ground that even after 25 days, the whereabouts of the petitioner's son not known and the respondent police has not taken any effective steps to find out the missing man.

2. The third respondent/Inspector of Police has filed status report wherein it is stated that effective investigation been carried out to trace the missing man in CCTNS website portal been examined to find out whether a missing man is found in the unknown dead bodies and request been made to the Cyber Cell to get the CDR Report of the missing man and his relatives number. Place of congregations been visited and enquired by showing the photographs of the missing man and pamphlets been widely circulated with the photograph of the missing man in public gathering places. The status report indicates all possible steps to trace the missing man.

3. This Court is satisfied with the action taken by the third respondent. Therefore, there is no necessity to transfer the investigation. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 05.07.2024 Vv To
