ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 04.03.2026.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner submitted an online application dated 04.03.2026 seeking a survey and measurement of the property comprised in Survey Nos.130B/1C3B and 130B/2C1, Surapattu Village, Madavaram Taluk, Tiruvallur District, under the supervision and protection of the 5th respondent police. However, the said application has not been considered to date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5 and submitted that the petitioner's application dated 04.03.2026 will be considered within a period of ten weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the petitioner's online application dated 04.03.2026 and carry out a survey and complete the process, after giving prior notice to the petitioner as well as to the 6th respondent and other aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of ten (10) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent to conduct a survey and lay boundary stones at the subject land. In the event any dispute arises regarding the possession of the subject property, the same has to be decided by way of filing a suit before the competent Civil Court.

7. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
