O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the accused to quash the Occurrence Report in a forest case. During the pendency of this quash petition, it appears that the forest officials have filed a complaint in C.C.No.211 of 2017 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pollachi against the accused. Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission to withdraw this quash petition.

2.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 3.However, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a direction may be issued to the trial Court, to complete trial in a time bound manner.

4.Accepting the submission, this Court directs the trial Court to complete the trial in C.C.No.211 of 2017 within six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, provided the accused cooperates with the trial Court, provided there is no any other legal impediment.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
