Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and process the petitioners application dated 6.3.2026 bearing No.,2026/N123/18/000935, and further to conduct survey measurement and demarcation of the property in survey No.149/8B, measuring 6.50 ares situated at Kavalakudi Village, Srimushnam Taluk,Cuddalore District in accordance with the provisions of the Tamilnadu Survey and Boundaries Act 1923 and to fix and demarcate the four boundaries of the said property and issue the necessary survey sketch and reocrds and to complete the entire exercise within a time frame to be fixed by this Honble court

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 06.03.2026.
2. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed an application dated 06.03.2026 before the respondents, requesting to conduct survey and lay boundary stones at the subject property. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.
5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's application will be disposed of within a period of 12 weeks and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.
6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the application filed by the petitioner dated 06.03.2026 and after issuing due notice to all the concerned parties, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent for conducting survey and laying boundary stones at the subject land. If there is any dispute with regard to the possession over the said property, the same has to be decided only by way of filing a suit before an appropriate Civil Court.
9. If any police protection is required at the time of conducting survey, the official respondents are granted liberty to avail the same by approaching the jurisdictional police station. In such case, the concerned police officer shall provide all necessary protection to the respondents till the completion of survey at the subject land.
