Seeking cancellation of patta, the petitioner made a representation on 25.12.2013. Pursuant to the said representation, the District Revenue Officer has directed the parties, in whose name the patta stands as of now, to appear. Despite the same, as no further progress has been made, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Considering the above, a direction is issued to the District Revenue Officer to pass appropriate orders pursuant to the enquiry notice issued on 17.02.2015 in Lr.No.J5/517/2014 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
