This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to transfer the investigation in Crime No.445 of 2021 from the file of the third respondent to some other agency.
2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the complaint in Crime No.445 of 2021 is with regard to missing of the wife of the petitioner. He would further submit that after registration of the First Information Report in Crime No.445 of 2021 by the third respondent, the wife of the petitioner has been traced out and handed over to her parents as early as on 29.05.2024.
4. As the cause of action for the complaint in Crime No.445 of 2021 no longer survives, no purpose would be served by transferring its investigation from the file of the third respondent to any other investigating agency.
