ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondents to execute the non-bailable warrant issued by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court-I, Egmore, Chennai-8, on 09.12.2013 in C.C.No.758 of 2009 which was acknowledged by the 2nd respondent.

2. Heard Mr.G.Ravikumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen earlier, this Court in Crl.O.P.No.16198 of 2014 has passed the following order:

".. 4. When this matter came up for hearing on 26.06.2014, it was represented by the respondent that the accused is employed in ship and he has gone in high seas. This was recorded by this Court on 26.06.2014. Then, this Court issued a direction to the respondent police by order dated 22.07.2014 to ascertain the employer of the accused; that could not be done. In my considered opinion, the respondent police shall take endeavours to arrest the accused in execution of the Non-Bailable Warrant and produce him before the trial Court. Only such a direction could be issued to the respondent police and no time limit could be prescribed by this Court."

4. Today, the respondent police is present. When the police went to the house to look out for the accused, his wife has abused the police and she has also given a complaint to the Commissioner of Police against the Madhavaram Police. It is seen that the accused is not in station and is abroad. Hence, the respondent police is directed to comply with the earlier order passed by this Court expeditiously.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
