ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.04.2022 for the offences punishable under Section 392 of IPC in crime No.60 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 19.04.2022 at about 07.45 p.m., the petitioner waylaid the defacto complainant's father and snatched Rs.3,200/- from him at knife point. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that on the date of occurrence, the petitioner waylaid the defacto complainant's father and snatched Rs.3,200/- at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

knife point. He would further submit that the petitioner has 19 previous cases similar in nature. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. It is seen that the petitioner is a habitual offender. If the petitioner is let out on bail, he will again commit the same kind of offence. Therefore, considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
