ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 5 of TANPID Act and Section 406 and 420 of IPC read with Section 120B, in Crime No.7 of 2016, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons had collected huge amount from various persons and cheated them. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no way connected with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that there are two previous cases pending as against the petitioner. He further submits that the investigation has been completed and the charge sheet has also been filed before the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Special Court for cases under TANPID Act, Coimbatore in C.C.No.15 of 2021. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that there are two previous cases pending as against the petitioner and the charge sheet has also been filed, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
