PRAYER Writ petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to grant patta to the petitioner for the property situated in T.S. No.75 /2, Ward B, Block No.4 in Arakkonam Town, Arakkonam Taluk, Ranipet District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 24/03/2025 in light of G.O.(Ms.) No.97, Revenue and Disaster Management dated 21/02/2025 within a time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 24.03.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property which has been classified as "Government Poramboke" in the revenue records in line with GO Ms. No.97 dated 21.02.2025.

Heard Mr.Govind Chandrasekar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 5.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 24.03.2025 strictly in line with GO MS No.97 dated 21.02.2025 and pass orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
