Respondent in all the W.Ps Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's applications dated 18.03.2013 (dealt with in R.Nos.16104/A3/2013, 16105/A3/2013 and 16106/A3/2013) respectively for the grant of contract carriage omni bus permit, forthwith.

Advocate in all the W.Ps COMMON ORDER Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate, who took notice for the respondent and with their consent, the main writ petitions are taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The writ petitions have been filed for a direction to the respondent herein to consider and dispose of the applications dated 18.03.2013 of the petitioner herein to issue Contract Carriage Omni Bus Permits forthwith to him.

3. The petitioner has applied for Contract Carriage Omni Bus Permit to the respondent on 18.03.2013 along with necessary required documents and fees, also pointing out that he is the existing contract carriage operator in the State of Tamil Nadu. But, till date, there is no response. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Without going into the merits of the case, these writ petitions are disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the applications of the petitioner dated 18.03.2013 for grant of Contract Carriage Omni Bus Permit and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
