ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Chief Justice) The contempt petition alleges non-compliance of the order dated 01.02.2024 passed in W.P.No.22348 of 2021, whereby this court had directed the State to carry out the inspection of the subject writ land and find out as to whether illegal quarrying is undertaken within two weeks and depending upon the report of the inspection, to initiate further action. 2 Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that inspection was carried out and no quarry was being carried out illegally, however, some crusher units were operating by bringing stones from elsewhere and hence, they had issued notice for eviction of the crush owners and the crush owners had challenged the notice before the learned Single Judge in a writ petition where the learned Single Judge had granted interim relief staying the eviction notice.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt petition. Accordingly, it is closed.
