ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to grant 30 days ordinary leave by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 02.08.2021 and release the petitioner's father viz., Pilavendran, son of Chinnasamy, aged about 64 years, Life Convict No.3218, confined in the Central Prison, Vellore.

It is the case of the petitioner that his father Pilavendran is a Convict Prisoner (C.T.No.3218) and presently https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

lodged in the Central Prison, Vellore and it is the further case of the petitioner that his marriage has been fixed on 26.08.2021 and a representation dated 02.08.2021 has been given to the prison authorities for grant of ordinary leave to his father under the Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence Rules, 1982, but, the same has not been considered so far.

On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the representation dated 02.08.2021 is under consideration by the authorities.

Recording the same, this writ petition stands disposed of and we direct the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2021 within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
