ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to give permission to conduct cultural programme on 09.06.2018 in the event of temple festival of Sri Karumariamman Koil of Gandhipuram, Sendhamangalam Post and Taluk, Namakkal District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.05.2018.

2. This Court is unable to entertain the writ petition for two reasons. The petitioner has not sent any representation to the second respondent seeking permission to conduct the cultural programme. However, a representation dated 25.05.2018 said to have been sent to the second respondent has been objected by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, stating that postal receipt dated 12.02.2018 has been sent only to the Inspector of Police, Salem and not to the respondents herein.

3. Therefore, this Court, finding that the petitioner has not approached the second respondent, but has come to this Court directly, is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
