This petition has been preferred by the petitioner before this Court after invoking the proviso to Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents to register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 27.01.2015. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents.
3.It is averred in the petition that when the petitioner was travelling with his son by name, Yesappan in a tricycle from Guindy to Pallavaram, a tourist Van bearing registration No.TN-16-A-8104, coming behind them, hit the petitioner's tricycle, causing grievous injuries to his son, who succumbed to the injuries in the hospital and hence, a complaint was given by the petitioner on 27.01.2015. Inspite of the compliant given, no case was registered by the respondents and hence, he come forward with this petition.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that a case has been registered in Cr.No.682 of 2014 in Mount Police Station with the second respondent and witnesses were examined. She further concedes that investigation is not yet over.
5.Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the second respondent is directed to file final report within a period of two months from today.
