This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent herein to provide the effective police protection to the petitioner's company to erect the cell phone tower and to install all the telecommunication electrical and electronics equipments and its maintenance on the said BTS transmission tower at 365, Sarawathinagar, Nallathukudi, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam belongs to Renukadevi W/o.Chandrahasan.

2. Heard Mr.N.Umapathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It appears that the petitioner company is putting up cell phone tower in the leased out land, which is being objected by some neighbours. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations, the respondent Police is directed to look into the nature of the petition and give police protection as sought for by the petitioner.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
